comparing perfectionism, emotional intelligence and mental health factors among normal and gifted female high school students of isfahan

چکیده

this study aims to compare normal and gifted students in terms of perfectionism, emotional intelligence and mental health factors. descriptive causal-comparative research method was utilized. the sample consisted of 100 female high school students (50 normal students and 50 gifted students). research tools were the ghq, bar-on, hill and raven questionnaires. multivariate analysis of variance (manova) was used to analyze data. results showed that the two groups were significantly different in terms of perfectionism, emotional intelligence and mental health factors (p <0.05). general health, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, inability to cope and depression levels in gifted students were significantly more than these factors in normal students. emotional intelligence in gifted students was lower than normal students. in addition, perfectionism of gifted students was significantly more than perfectionism of normal students.
